GELB RESIDENCE

Three spiral shaped stone walls cradle the rooms of this organic contemporary house, provide privacy from the street and make a soft, sculptural statement. The same native sandstone is used inside for columns and fireplace chimneys, which form transitions between spaces in the open plan layout. Carefully crafted built-ins and custom furniture pieces work with surprising architectural details, such as the glass floor in the dining room.
